Popular German Machine Sold Under Many Different Brands

This is a delightful machine.

From 1910 until 1928 the Erika was only available as a 3-row folding typewriter similar to the Corona Folding Typewriter. The 4-row Erika added this non-folding typewriter model to its lineup in 1928.

The Seidel & Naumann company also produced sewing machines, bicycles, adding machines and calculators.

The Erika was also sold under brands including the Aztec, Bijou, Eureka, Perkeo, Ideal, Irene and Ursula.

This sturdy, precision machine has no margin release and its original ribbon spool has been replaced with new ones. Single and double-space settings are available as well as a tri-colored ribbon including a stencil setting.

The typewriter includes a case with replacement twine handles and a snap off baseboard.

The machine is in good working order but some letters need alignment.
